The Belle Point Quilter's Guild was formed in 1984 to promote the appreciation of the rich heritage of the art of quilting and to enhance each member's own quilting skills and knowledge. It shall also be the purpose of this organization to expand and to enrich the art of quilting for future generations.
We meet every 4th Monday of the month at 7 p.m. at Fort Smith Senior Activity Center, 2700 Cavanaugh Road, Fort Smith, AR. Well known speakers as well as the Guild's own talented members lecture and present a variety of informative and stimulating programs related to quilting. Our monthly meetings also feature Show and Tell, Block of the Month, door prizes, and much more. Guests are always welcome. We participate in local quilt shows, and have a quilt camp every year. We are involved in many community service projects.
Come join in the fun!
Triangles, Circles and Squares,,,On My!
We are having our biennial quilt show this year and we would like to invite everyone to come!
The dates are October 10th, 9-6pm, and October 11th, 9-3pm. It will be at the Fort Smith Convention Center, 55 South 7th Street in downtown Fort Smith again this year. We are celebrating our 30th year!
We have had a wonderful response for quilts, so there will be plenty of "eye candy"!
We have a beautiful donation quilt (see below), and there will be door prizes, a vendor's mall, judged show, special exhibits including past BPQG presidents' quilts, and a wall of challenge quilts. There will also be a silent auction of quilt related items. Members will be giving quilting demonstrations throughout the day.
Lunch will be available, and parking is free.
Admission is only $5.00!
